Estimate Writer (Xactimate Exp. Required)

Our growing construction company is looking to hire a an experienced person for our Estimating & Supplementing department at our corporate office location in Hillside, IL .

Full-time Schedule (No Weekends) - In Person/In-Office (not remotely)

Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm.

Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Create and send estimates using Xactimate
• Send estimates to insurance companies
• Take calls and make calls to insurance companies to confirm receipt of our estimate, photos & other documentation
• Discuss line items within estimate and negotiate if needed
• Analyze job file, documents, notes, photos etc.
• Create a supplement estimate based on scope of work

Experience Requirements

• Xactimate 28 Experience (Required)
• Strong time management skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to pay close attention to details
• Experience in Restoration Construction
• Ability to read & understand Insurance Summary/Estimate
